Farsun — Terms of Use

Agreement and Apple's standard EULA

Farsun is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard "Apple EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, except for the additional terms below, which take precedence where they conflict. By downloading or using Farsun, you agree to both.

The Supporter Pack

The Supporter Pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks cosmetic items only (a ship finish, an engine trail, a star in your home sky and a profile sigil) and never changes how the game plays or scores. It is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your other devices from the game's Settings. Payment and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; to request a refund, use https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

Online features and fair play

Farsun's leaderboards, echo duels, and friends features rely on a shared environment used by other players. In return for access to those features, you agree that you will not:

• Cheat, tamper with the game, or submit falsified or manipulated scores or run data
• Use exploits, automation, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage
• Submit data intended to harm, harass, disrupt, or grief other players

The game caps how much your leftover enemies can affect another player's run to keep duels fair. The developer may remove leaderboard entries or duel data, or restrict access to online features, where there is reason to believe these rules have been broken.

Callsigns and conduct

Your callsign is visible to other players. It must not be offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, or impersonate another person. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior toward other players.

Callsigns are filtered automatically, and any pilot can be blocked or reported from the friends screen. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and the developer may delete an offending profile and its online data without notice.

Gameplay data you submit

By using echo duels and the friends features you agree that the gameplay data your runs produce, together with your callsign, emoji sigil, and Game Center nickname (all described in the Privacy Policy), may be stored in the shared database and shown to other players as part of how those modes work. You can remove it at any time from Settings → Online in the app.

Cosmetics and progression

Seasonal rewards, trails, ship variants, colors, and medals are cosmetic only. They are licensed to you for use in the game, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money. Seasons add new content but do not delete cosmetics you've already earned.

Provided “as is”

Farsun is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Online features depend on Apple services (Game Center, iCloud, and Apple's push notification network) and may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed at any time. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Apple is not responsible

Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. As permitted under Apple's standard EULA, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Changes to these terms

If this agreement changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes that affect how your information is handled will be reflected here before they take effect.
